Low-nitrogen combustion technology is a controlled combustion technology. By adjusting the oxygen content in the combustion air, the production of nitrogen oxides is reduced. For biomass boilers, flue gas recirculation technology is commonly used. The flue gas recirculation technology has two processes: ①The flue gas after the induced draft fan is directly led to the inlet of the primary fan. This scheme does not need to change the primary fan, and the recirculated flue gas does not require an exhaust fan, which saves electricity and energy, and the transformation is simple. The nitrogen oxide concentration can be reduced by 20% to 40%. ②The flue gas after the induced draft fan is directly led to the primary air chamber and the secondary air chamber of the furnace. In this scheme, the primary fan needs to run at reduced load, and the recirculated flue gas also needs to be equipped with a high-temperature exhaust fan, and the air pressure is equivalent to that of the primary fan. This scheme increases the operating power consumption, the transformation is relatively complicated, and the mass fraction of nitrogen oxides can be reduced by 25% to 50%. The flue gas recirculation technology will also increase the concentration of sulfur dioxide pollutants in the flue gas and the moisture content, but it will reduce the total flue gas emissions.
